Shilpa Shetty Sizzles With Tarun Tahiliani's Costume Collections in the ramp of the Wills India Fashion Week (WIFW)

Our sizzling and glamorous actress of Bollywood and Big B award winner Shilpa Shetty walked the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) on the second day of the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani's collection "From Kutch to Kenya" and left the audience magnetized.Amongst them the fashion event organisers, models, fashion designers and obviously the other celebrities are also there.

All Fashion fever glamour know that this is one of the greatest fashion events in India and the event is being organised in Delhi at the moment.

Shilpa Shetty was attend the ramp of the WIFW as the model of the famous fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani who introduced some classic and stylish costumes collection to the fashion freaks of India.Shilpa Shetty Sizzles to wear lambent in a flowing golden curtain and a gold headband and waistband completed the look.

Tahiliani said after the show Thursday evening that " People say that by bringing a celebrity on the ramp, a designer can get away with any kind of collection but that is not true. The drape evening dress was designed only keeping Shilpa Shetty in mind,". He also added that I have worked for hours to get the right fit for her.

This was a truly embellished show, started with the packed hall at Pragati Maidan singing the national anthem. After that through giant cutouts of elephants, men dressed like monkeys came jumping and dancing on the ramp, and then gave way to models to do their events one by one.

Tahiliani said that we was actually planned to play the national anthem to recapture the essence of the 60th year of Indian independence.


That evening collection was inspired by Kathiawari men in Kutch, taking a break from their day, perched in draped splendour, with their dhotis and wrapped skirts hitched up, and also glorious safas protecting them from the summer sun.

The collection of Tahiliani designer's palette contained colours like creamy latte, pale pistachio and hot pink.


The collection also offered linen tunics, dhoti peg skirts, smocked tops, voluminous jackets with sheer backs teamed with draped salwar pants, tunics, long kaftans, Jodhpur pants and evening gowns with permanent pleating and smocking in fabrics like silk, muslin, chiffon, linen and georgette.

Tarun Tahiliani collections was a nice mixture of the deluxe Indian fashion that is very popular for its rich tradition and they were also combined with a bit of bravery and as a whole,also, the costumes were full of energy with colur and fusion stitch.

The guests of the show also liked the accessories collection like headgear, tribal necklaces from Kutch and beads worn by African tribes was adorned with mirror work, chikan embroidery.


The famous designer Ritu Kumar commented on this event, "It`s always a treat to watch Tarun`s show as he brings in both magic and glamor to the ramp".
