Kate Beckinsale hospitalized in Memphis - Actress experiencing numbness in her left arm and leg

Kate Beckinsale was hospitalized Memphis-area hospital over the weekend.Asource revealed that the British beauty went to the hospital on Sunday afternoon, after complaining of numbness in her left arm and leg. The stunning Hollywood actress was taken to the hospital after she became increasingly concerned, but concerned doctors put it down to exhaustion.

Hospital source told in US TV show - Doctors treated Beckinsale and determined the problem."She was really concerned about the numbness, so decided to go and have it checked out. She wasn't in any pain, but doctors treated her and said it was down to exhaustion and the fact she hadn't been compliant with her regular medication."

Kate Beckinsale representative denied the reports, and said the actress went to the hospital to accompany her assistant who had sprained her ankle, but had her own check-up while she was hospitalised.

Kate Beckinsale is currently in Memphis shooting the drama “Nothing But The Truth,” alongside Matt Dillon and David Schwimmer. This drama slated to hit theaters in September 2008.

We all know, Kate's actor father Richard Beckinsale tragically died of a massive heart attack when he was just 31 yrs.

Kate has previously admitted when she lived in fear of suffering the same fate as her dad. She told spokes person: "Making it past the age that my father died made it easier to look forward to things and not have anything nagging you at the back of your mind."
