Leaks of Photos- 'Sex and the City' movie makes Tabloid Rumors

"Sex and the City" movie shooting on the streets of New York, it's no surprise the film has become catnip for the city's fashion, high-society, publishing and tabloid realms at present.

And that's shooting resulted in seemingly endless leaks of photos, gossip and possible key plot points. The parade of paparazzi shots released photos and "if A, then therefore B" plot deductions have created a rubber-neck fascination not seen since "The Devil Wears Prada."


Popular website Gawker.com waggishly anointed the production "The Most Important Movie Ever Shot in New York," running a dozen fan-on-the-street updates in the past month. Ditto the tabs, which have festooned their pages with giddy headlines and "candid" shots of Chris Noth, Sarah Jessica Parker and the gals.

Star-studded event to Honor Actress Julia Roberts inspires raunchy humor

It airs last week's that presentation of the American Cinematheque Award to Julia Roberts on Dec. 5.

Mike Nichols began his remarks by quoting David Mamet like : "'Film is a collaborative medium: Bend over.'"

Playboy Model Anna Nicole Smith's Trust is in Big Question? Lawyer seeks nearly $200,000 Payment !!

The attorney who represented Anna Nicole Smith's infant daughter in the dispute over the starlet's body is seeking nearly $US200,000 ($A222,000) for his work.



The amount would exhaust nearly the entirety of an estimated $US200,000 remaining in a trust for the girl, though she could eventually inherit millions more, said lawyers for her father, Larry Birkhead, and Smith's longtime companion, Howard K Stern.

"It is unconscionable for a trust established for a baby to be billed at a large-firm hourly rate," their lawyers wrote.

Lawyers for the girl's father, Larry Birkhead, and Smith's longtime companion, Howard K. Stern, say Milstein's bill would exhaust nearly the entirety of an estimated $200,000 remaining in a trust for Dannielynn, though she could eventually inherit millions more.




The bill includes $94,572.50 for work by Milstein billed at $475 hourly and $97,224.50 for work by other attorneys and paralegals in his firm, whose rates ranged from $155 to $495 hourly.




"This representation required the guardian ad litem to devote significantly all of his professional and personal time and attention to the interests of Dannielynn for a period in excess of two weeks," Milstein argued in his petition.

Nicole Smith, a former Playboy model who died on February 8 in a Hollywood hotel, was the widow of Texas oil tycoon J Howard Marshall II. She had been fighting Marshall's family for years over his estimated $US500 million ($A554 million) fortune, which could eventually go to the girl, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead.

Richard Milstein, who served as the girl's court-appointed guardian ad litem, has filed court papers seeking $US198,493.98 ($A220,000).



Milstein did not return a phone call today seeking additional comment.

Birkhead and Stern objected to Milstein's high rate and his use of other legal professionals without the specific authorization of the court.their lawyers wrote "It is unconscionable for a trust established for a baby to be billed at a large firm hourly rate," .

The lawyers also said the Playboy model's estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, should pay at least part of the bill, which the mother's attorney, Stephen Tunstall, called ridiculous.

The matter is scheduled for a hearing Nov. 8, but attorneys for the three other parties present for the extended dispute over where to bury Smith have already opposed.

The lawyers for Birkhead and Stern also said Smith's estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, should pay at least part of the bill, which the mother's lawyer, Stephen Tunstall, called ridiculous. Tunstall agreed with them, however, over Milstein's request, saying he "went wild" in generating a legal bill.

Exclusive: Pop Singer Madonna Intends to Sign a New $120 million Recording and Touring Deal

Pop singer Madonna intends to sign a $120 million recording and touring deal with live entertainment promoter Live Nation Inc. also this deal leave her longtime record label at Warner Music Group Corp.


Madonna is expected to sign a recording deal with entertainment producer Live Nation in this year 2007.

The pop superstar's management informed Warner last week that Madonna would accept Live Nation's offer after the record company refused to match the deal.

Under the terms of the proposed deal, Madonna, would receive a signing bonus of about $18 million and a roughly $17 million advance for each of three albums. A portion of the compensation would involve stock

Madonna could also benefit significantly from the touring component of the deal, which gives Live Nation the exclusive right to promote her tours.

In a bid to compete with the Live Nation offer, Warner pursued a possible partnership with ticket retailer Ticketmaster, a unit of InterActiveCorp, that would have enabled the record company to offer a spectrum of touring services to Madonna.

The proposed 10-year agreement would give Live Nation the rights to sell Madonna merchandise and license her name, and any revenue from such products would be split between the singer and the company, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing unnamed people familiar with the deal.

Live Nation also would have to pay $50 million in cash and stock to promote Madonna's tours, according to the Journal, which broke news of the deal on its Web site Wednesday afternoon.

The agreement would be in line with similar deals other artists have struck with labels in recent years that give record companies a stake in their artists beyond the sale of recordings.

Live Nation, which promotes and produces music shows, theatrical performances and other live events worldwide, has been looking to expand beyond its core businesses to offer artists services such as direct merchandising and exclusive ticket sales. Its Artist Nation division sells tickets and artist merchandise online.

Madonna first signed with Warner Music Group subsidiary Warner Bros. Records in 1984. Her last contract with the New York-based company calls for her to deliver one more studio album, expected next year, and a greatest hits record.

The singer has been among Warner Music's best-selling artists for years and arguably remains pop music royalty. Losing the rights to release her new recordings could prove to be a significant blow to the company's bottom line.

Rehab Was 'Sobering Experience'!! - Says Lindsay Lohan

On Friday, Lindsay reportedly checked out of the Cirque Lodge, a drug and alcohol treatment center in Utah. She had entered treatment in August after reaching a plea deal on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges following two arrests.

Lohan says in an interview with OK! magazine that "It was a sobering experience," . "It was humbling. It made me look at myself, and all of the people, places and things in my life in a different way. I was in there for substance abuse, after all."

She also added - "I'm staying in Utah until it's time to shoot `Dare to Love Me,' and then I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused, and avoid other distractions," she tells OK!

When asked whether she's worried about a relapse, Lohan said: "Of course I am! If I wasn't I'd be living in denial. Temptation is always there but now I'll avoid it the right way."

Lohan — who recently reunited with her father, Michael Lohan, after a 3 1/2-year estrangement — tells In Touch Weekly that her parents' divorce triggered her behavior.

"The trouble in my family resulted in me rebelling and doing things to get my parents' attention," she says."But all in all, it's better for me now to have them. It's healthy."

Lindsay says she's cutting out the people who encouraged her substance abuse.

"Those are the ones who are around me for the wrong reasons," she says. "The people who want to go out and party, that's not what I am about now."

"I just want to apologize to any of my fans that look up to me, especially my younger fans, for setting the examples that I didn't mean to set," she tells In Touch. "That is one of the reasons that I want to change things."

Warren Beatty Honored With AFI Life-Achievement Award

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the American Film institute announced Thursday that the Academy Award-winning filmmaker and actor Warren Beatty would be honored as the 36th recipient of its life-achievement award.

Warren Beatty used two words to describe his reaction at learning he would receive the American Film Institute's career honor: "Concealed weepiness."

Beatty, 70, said he was told about the honor while heading with wife Annette Bening to an AFI anniversary lunch.

Beatty told The Associated Press before the lunch that "It's a very good feeling. It's always nice to be accepted," . "I'm very happy to be part of and am actually quite proud to be a member of the film community."

The AFI award will be presented next June 12 2008.

Beatty also won the best-director Oscar for 1981's "Reds," which also earned him a best-actor nomination. He had three other nominations as best actor for "Bonnie and Clyde," "Heaven Can Wait" and "Bugsy." in his career.

"I'm on the verge right now. I approach it always from somewhat a combination of excitement and dread," said Warren Beatty. "I find if I yak too much about it, it gives me a good excuse to put it off. For me, 'right on the verge' can mean decades."

Turns out everyone got “Punk’d”: Longoria’s video was the latest spoof to show up on Will Ferrell’s Funny or Die Web site(http://www.funnyordie.com/).

“I’m so amused. It’s so funny. Oh my gosh. I’ve gotten like 100 calls on it saying it’s so hilarious,” Longoria gushed to Ryan Seacrest during his KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday.

Longoria explained - “We’ve got this comedian called Perry Hilton, who does everything that Paris Hilton does. If you go on there, he’s gotten a DUI. He goes out clubbing … So, they go, ‘We want to do a sex video in that night vision – kind of like the one she did,’ ” .

The PG-rated clip, shows Longoria wearing lingerie, chatting on a bed with a hunky “Perry.” (One blog, Egotastic.com, identifies him as actor Eric Christian Olson.) The video is shot in night-vision with a fake time stamp of Feb. 3, 2004, before Longoria hit it big on Desperate Housewives and married NBA star Tony Parker.

Reports circulated earlier this week that the Housewives star was the victim of a purloined steamy sex tape that she made with Parker. However, Longoria told Seacrest, not only did Parker think her skit was “freaking hilarious,” the couple are “very square” and have not made a tape of their own.
